Our Work

The Educational Institution plays a very vital role in the quality of education imparted to the students. The basic requirements like amenities and the Faculty have a strong bearing on the Educational Institution.

A vast majority of the Educational Institutions in rural Tamilnadu lacks these basic requirements and hence is unable to provide Quality Education. This can be addressed if the student could attend Private tuition to compensate for this lack of infrastructure, which unfortunately is a luxury that most people neither have access to, nor can they afford. This is what Anbu Karangalin Anbu Illam tries to address through our Awareness Programs.

Programmes

	Anbu Karangalin Anbu Illam steps in to deliver health at their doors through its Health Units. Issues like reproductive health, immunization, AIDS awareness, related to preventive care are focus areas of our health interventions. Anbu Karangalin Anbu Illam volunteers conduct health detection programme camps, like eye camps, general checkup, blood donation, etc in various parts from village to state capitals at regular intervals.
	Education is the basic need of the society. Anbu Karangalin Anbu Illam extends its helping hand to those who are deprived of the basic education in what ever way it is possible.We focus on children from low income communities enabling them to maximize their potential and change their lives.
	Of the 1.3 billion people who live in absolute poverty around the globe, 70 percent are women.Apart from the economic and social inequality, women are victims of heinous crimes such as dowry deaths, rape, molestation and immoral trafficking.Anbu Karangalin Anbu Illam is working at the grass root level to empower women to attain economic participation in order to overcome poverty and inequality.
	Anbu Karangalin Anbu Illam have been raising resources to protect the rights of India's elderly and provide relief to them through various interventions.
	Hunger remains the No.1 cause of death in the world.The number of hungry people in India is always more than the number of people below official poverty line. We provides satisfied food for this fragile section of the society.
	Rural Self-Employment Training Institutes are promoted for the purpose of providing opportunities to the rural youth for their skill up gradation leading to self-employment.
	Anbu Karangalin Anbu Illam responds to disaster victims, ranging from home fires that affect a single family to hurricanes, earthquakes, tsunami and flood that impacts thousands. We help them get back on their feet..
	Creating awareness on the importance of education and its significance among the rural masses.
